On the Polonsky Commons, weather permitting, there will be Safe Solar viewing of Sunspots and Flares during the day (from 10 am to 3 pm) and views of the Moon, Saturn and other celestial objects at night (8 pm to 11 pm). Access to Polonsky Commons is through the UB (Business/IT Building) Atrium. In the UB Atrium, from 10 am to 3 pm, there will be displays and information on all things astronomical.
If you have a telescope hidden away somewhere and would like some instruction on its use, dig it out and bring it along. We'd be glad to help.
