Location: Thickson Woods Nature Reserve, near the bottom of Thickson Rd S. in Whitby
Come and enjoy safe solar viewing of Sun Spots and Flares (weather permitting) and talk astronomy with members of The Durham Region Astronomical Association at the Thickson Woods Nature Festival.
If you have a telescope at home but you need instruction on how to set it up and use it, bring it along and we would be happy to help.
Thickson's Woods Nature Reserve is near the bottom of Thickson Rd, where the Waterfront Trail crosses the road.
