Fermi's Paradox - presented by Brian Boddy The presentation will cover the apparent contradiction between high estimates of the probability of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations, and the lack of evidence for such civilizations
POSTPONED - Science with a million people - presented by Manish Kar The presentation will begin with a video clip of a lecture featuring Chris Lintott, founder of Zooniverse, that uncovers the citizen science that has discovered galaxies, found planets, hunted for aliens and explored the Earth’s wild places. The lecture was given at the Royal Society, London, on 27 November 2015.
